This collection is the result of a titanic work on the material: superimposed layers of oil paint allow an exploration of the shadow towards clarity. François Mascarello scratches and models them, tracing his patterns and shapes, matt versus glossy. On the wallpaper, the oil brush stroke is almost still damp, so to speak, thanks to a small pressure miracle on the way.
