In the 1920s, the synergy between art and industry reached a peak with art deco. ´The roaring twenties` were marked by technological progression and an exuberant lifestyle. Industrial mechanisms were celebrated and integrated into the artistic fields. Our creative motivation resides in the same spirit. Early and late art deco designs from the Masureel archive form the basis of this new Khrôma collection.
FOLIES expresses a luxurious ´joie de vivre` that recalls the vibrance of the Folies Bergère theatre, which was the new breeding ground for French cultural life in the 1920s. The collection offers an overall concept including wallcoverings, textile and paint colors.
