CHRISTO`s symmetrical composition may look simple, but the design find it strength in sleek and abstract lines. It expresses the artistic and architectual philosophy of Russian avant-garde influences. Soviet Art Deco was shaped by the latter, in combination with the exchange with the West. It merged architectural ideas with a decorative approach.
