Ditsy Block – Felbrigg Hall ca. 1900
This charming floral wallpaper was discovered at Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk and is one of the most intriguing wallpapers on the estate. Its discovery location is curious, as the wallpaper was found in an attic, likely a former servant's room—a peculiar place to hang an ornate wallpaper. The wallpaper was probably produced using the woodblock printing technique, and the original features a painted braiding at the top of the pattern, reminiscent of damask furniture. This pattern, available in six contemporary colors, was manufactured using surface printing to authentically replicate the original production method.
