Great Ormond Street ca.1890
This colorful parrot motif has been reimagined in color from the archives of Little Greene, based on a series of layered wallpapers found on the ground floor of a very early 18th-century terraced house opposite the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital. This design was later machine-produced on cellulose paper in the late 19th century. It is available in seven surface-printed color variants.
