This was originally just a border, a fragment of which is kept at Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk; however, the size of the pattern has been completely changed. This is a classic example of Art Nouveau, with its shadowy stems and flower heads of yarrow, or possibly the local marsh sowthistle; the areas of color are typical of screen-printed designs. In addition to radically changing the size of the pattern and digitally printing the design, Achillea's five modern, impressively coordinated colourways make it suitable both as a background and as an eye-catcher in modern spaces.
